Asbestos is the greatest single cause of work related deaths in the UK. It is likely that up to 1.5 million commercial, industrial and public buildings in the UK contain asbestos materials. Asbestos was used in hundreds of different products and buildings from the 1950’s to the mid 1980’s. Asbestos cement was used up until 1999 in a variety of different premises and materials. CDM Environmental Ltd have over 18 years experience working in the licensed Asbestos Removal industry ranging from power stations to domestic properties delivering a professional and cost effective approach.  Being a Non-Notifiable & NNLW Asbestos Removal company means that we can offer a reduced rate but with the same excellent service.  Before the commencement of any work CDM will produce all necessary Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) in line with HSE (Health & Safety Executive) requirements. We issue copies of all our waste consignment notes and waste transfer station paperwork to our clients as we are fully licensed to collect and remove asbestos *upper tier* waste so that you can rest assured that the hazardous waste materials have been dealt with in the correct and professional procedure. All our personnel are fully trained for licensed Asbestos Removal works so be rest assured that all of the non-licensed Asbestos Removal works will be carried out in the correct and professional manner, safety is and always will be paramount to our personnel and others around us.  Training and face fit tests for the masks are carried out yearly and the mask test every six months complying with current regulations of the licensed industry.  The medicals are carried out every two years to comply with legislation.  All of our workforce hold CSCS (Construction Skills Certificate Scheme) Training Cards as evidence of appropriate training for work on all UK construction sites removing Asbestos.  PASMA certificates for working with mobile aluminium scaffold towers and IPAF working with MEWP’s (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms ) are also held by our operatives. Although we primarily serve Cardiff, our Asbestos Removal services are available throughout Swansea, Newport, Barry, Bristol, Swindon, Gloucester and the South West.
